The good thing is you can travel by car or fly and you don’t need to travel too far. Our holiday resort here is Duinrell where you are guaranteed a great holiday for the whole family. A holiday in Holland means no long driving distances
Holland is a great country to travel in because everything is nearby. It’s only a two hour drive from the west to the east to get into Germany. When you stay at our holiday resort Duinrell on the west coast of the Netherlands it’s 1 hour away from Amsterdam the capital of The Netherlands and definitely worth a visit. The whole of the west coast offers many great seaside resorts you can visit while you stay at Duinrell.
Holiday in Holland, coast or city hopping
When you are planning a daytrip away from the fun packed Duinrell, if you can get the kids away that is, there are many places you can visit. There are some large towns nearby like Rotterdam or The Hague. All political decisions are made in The Hague and there are many beautiful buildings here. Other places of interest are ‘Het Zuiderzee Museum’ near Alkmaar, or stay at the coast and visit places like Zandvoort and Scheveningen, very popular with Dutch and foreign tourists. At our Holiday resort Duinrell they will tell you which places to visit and how far away, one thing’s for sure, in Holland nothing is too far away.
