Rimini is a very popular seaside resort. Many younger people choose to put their tent up on a campsite near Rimini in order to enjoy the nightlife and many beaches and shops. But there is also a lot of cultural places of interest on the east coast of Italy and there’s also a lot of culture in Rimini itself. The Arch of Augustus for instance was built in the 1st century BC, or Tempio Malatestiano dated from the 15th century and the Amphitheatre from the 2nd century. The peninsula Gargano has got many beautiful spots worth visiting on a day out away from your campsite. Other places of interest to visit are the lakes of Lesina and Vararo or the accessible mountains of Monte Calvo (1055 meters high) and Monte Spigno (1008 meters high).

Bari is a beautiful city and hopefully not too far away from your campsite to visit. But the most well known city in this region is Venice. If there is one city you have to visit while on holiday on the Adriatic Coast then it has to be Venice. No city can beat Venice for romance and architecture.
